President of Belarus Aleksander Lukshenko sent Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev his condolences in relation to the deaths of the militarymen at Arkankergen frontier post in Almaty oblast, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the official website of Belarus President. “On behalf of Belarus people and me personally I express sincere condolences to the families of the victims and to all the people of Kazakhstan, the message states. Earlier Kyrgyzstan President Almazbek Atambayev also expressed his condolences to Kazakhstan President and the families of the victims. “It was with a big sorrow and compassion that I took the message on the tragic deaths of Kazakhstan militarymen at Arkankergen frontier post in Almaty oblast. Kyrgyzstan is shocked by this horrible crime. I am sure that the organizers and the actual perpetrators of this tragedy will be found and will bear a proper punishment. On behalf of all the Kyrgyz people and me personally I express sincere condolences to the families of the victims and a deep compassion to you and to the fraternal people of Kazakhstan,” the telegram states. On May 30 the frontier group of Sary Bokter Post of Usharal Frontier Troops of Shygys Regional Frontier Service Department discovered that the burnt barracks of Argkankergen frontier post where 15 frontier officers normally serve. The corpses of 14 militarymen were found at or near the accident site. Besides, the body of the gamekeeper of a nearby hunting farm was found next to the post. The criminal case was initiated over the accident. Nursultan Nazarbayev announced June 5 a one-day nation-wide mourning over murdered border guards.
