The 42-year-old woman was apprehended in Antalya.
"In 2009, while serving as the Deputy Director of a bank in Aktau, she applied to a credit financial organization for a loan of 200,000 dollars to purchase real estate. When obtaining the money, she forged the co-borrower's signature and disappeared," the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported.
The arrested individual has been deported to Kazakhstan and is currently in custody.
Recall that earlier, a Kazakh woman suspected of embezzling a significant amount of property was extradited from Turkey. It is reported that from 2022 to 2023, while working as an accountant for a commercial organization in Almaty, she embezzled approximately 27 million tenge by entering false information into payment orders.
