A resident of Mangistau oblast has been promising a job placement in an oil company for a fee, regional new website Tumba reports. The woman has been arrested by the police. According to the police, the woman convinced her clients that she had connections in an oil company, and that she could easily get a well-paid job for them. She asked for a fee of $4 500 for her service. She got her friend to meet the people and receive the money. The fraud managed to earn more than 2 million tenge ($13 140) this way. A criminal case has been initiated against her.
