Investigation launched into alleged suicide of a National Security Committee Border Guard Service official

A criminal investigation has been launched into the alleged suicide of Murat Kadralinov, Vice Head of the frontier post guarded by the Zhundja border guard detachment, Ms. Larissa Dmitryuk, spokeswoman of the National Security Committee Border Guard Service reported. Captain Kadralinov took his life February 4 at 18:00 local time. “Following his return from border patrolling, captain Kadralinov committed suicide over a family row. A group of officers headed by Vice Director of the National Security Committee Border Guard Service”, the National Security Committee officials reported earlier. Tengrinews.kz reported earlier that Head of the National Security Committee’s Border Guard Academy Major General Talgat Essetov had been found dead in his office January 31, 2013. The cause of the death was a bullet injury. A criminal investigation was launched February 1.
