The case of Kuandyk Bishimbayev and Bakhytzhan Baizhanov has arrived at the Supreme Court. Information about it is contained in the court office.

On August 5, the case was transferred to the Supreme Court judge.

On May 13 in Astana, the trial concluded in the case of the murder of Saltanat Nukenova. The court found former Minister of National Economy Kuandyk Bishimbaev guilty of torturing and killing his wife, sentencing him to 24 years in prison.

His brother, Bakhtzhan Baizhanov, was found guilty of covering up the crime and sentenced to four years in prison.

On June 26, the appellate court upheld the sentences of Bishimbaev and Baizhanov, rejecting their appeals.
