Information about the Pavlodar resident, who allegedly molested the child, published Telegram-channel Kerek.pv. It is reported that the suspect is allegedly a football coach. The man is accused of harrassing a 10-year-old girl, touching her and forcing her to touch him.
The police have confirmed the information about the suspect's detention.
"A criminal case has been initiated on suspicion of committing sexual acts against a minor. The suspect has been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility," commented the press service of the Police Department of the Pavlodar region.
It is noted that the progress of the investigation is under the supervision of the Police Department of the Pavlodar region.
Children's Ombudsman Saule Shakeneva, commented on the situation involving the 10-year-old schoolgirl. It is reported that the suspect is a manager at a private football school.
"According to the girl's mother, she found the private football school through Instagram and enrolled her daughter for a trial lesson. The manager suggested participating in a tournament, and the mother brought the girl to the competition. Instead of the tournament, the man took the girl to a hotel, made her inhale a psychoactive substance, and then committed lewd acts against her," detailed Saule Shakeneva.
She also added that the police promptly took up the investigation. The girl is now at home, surrounded by the attention and care of her family and loved ones.
"Psychological support is provided upon request. On my part, I expressed admiration to the mother for her 10-year-old daughter's bravery in speaking out and sharing what happened, potentially saving other children. To me, this is heroism! Not every adult is capable of such courage," Shakeneva commented.
Earlier, police in the Almaty region have disrupted the activities of a criminal group allegedly involved in child trafficking.
