Atyrau citizen was sentenced to 7 years in jail for beating up her step son in an attempt to make him a suicide bomber, Tengrinews.kz reports citing the press-secretary of Atyrau oblast court Boranbai Galiyev. According to him, the woman was charged with Preparing a Crime and Attempting a Crime, Torture of Minors, Propagating Terrorism and Public Calls to Terrorist Attacks. Besides, 10 extremist books were discovered during a search in the criminal’s house. According to Galiyev, the prosecutor said that the convict was preparing her step son to become a suicide bomber. It turned out that she married a Salafism adept who had two children with his first wife. In 2012 he was killed during a police operation to arrest him. Raising her step son she was beat him and repeated that he had to become a suicide bomber and wear a Shaheed belt to meet his father in heaven after death.
