Tengrinews.kz - In Shymkent, the bodies of two Indian students were discovered in their rented apartment. The cause of death is currently under investigation, citing Otyrar.kz.

The deceased, aged 21 and 22, were second-year students at the South Kazakhstan Medical Academy and were living with three other foreign students in the Al-Farabi district of the city.

Their bodies were found in the bedroom and hallway.

Initially, there were concerns that the young men may have died from carbon monoxide poisoning. However, the emergency services department ruled out this possibility, stating that there were no violations in the installation of the gas water heater and kitchen stove in the apartment.

The exact cause of death will be determined by an expert examination.
