Tengrinews.kz – A Kazakh national suspected of sexually assaulting a child has been extradited from Russia.
According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the man is suspected of committing sexual acts of a violent nature against a known minor.
"In November 2024, in the Kostanay region, the perpetrator went to the apartment of a teenager whose parents he was on friendly terms with. While alone with the victim, fully aware of his age and mental illness, the perpetrator committed violent sexual acts against him," the Prosecutor General’s Office reported.
After committing the crime, the suspect left Kazakhstan and was placed on an international wanted list.
