New Director General is now managing EP KazMunaiGas, Tengrinews.kz reports. According to the message of EP KazMunaiGas, chairman of the company (Director General) Askar Balzhanov resigned. Alik Aidarbayev, who previously held the position of the Chairman of the Board, was elected Chairman (Director General) of EP KazMunaiGas. Sissengali Utegaliyev will be Acting Chairman of the Board until the new chairman is elected. Alik Aidarbayev served as the Director General of Turgai-Petroleum and Mangistaumunaigas. He had been holding the position of the Managing Director on Exploration and Production of KazMunaiGas National Company since April 2011. Earlier Lyazzat Kiinov, former Kazakhstan Minister of Oil and Gas, was appointed chairman of KazMunaiGas.
