Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan has appointed a new Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, Tengrinews reports citing the press office of the bank.
Aslan Talpakov was appointed "the new Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and elected a member of the Bank’s Management Board in accordance with the Resolution of the Bank's Board of Directors dated 7 July 2015".

Aslan Talpakov was appointed "the new Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and elected a member of the Bank’s Management Board in accordance with the Resolution of the Bank's Board of Directors dated 7 July 2015".
Talpakov joined Halyk Bank in July 2011 and led the Corporate Lending Department. Previously, he worked as a manager of the Corporate Department at RBS Kazakhstan and held various posts at ABN AMRO Bank Kazakhstan.
The newly appointed Deputy Chairman "will be in charge of small and medium enterprises (SME), as well as marketing and PR".
Aslan Talpakov replaced Stanislav Kosobokov as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Halyk Bank.
Earlier, Bloomberg reported citing the bank that by "the decision of the Board of Directors dated on June 22, 2015, the powers of Stanislav Kosobokov as a member of the Management Board of company were terminated on June 23, 2015".
Halyk Bank JSC, a leading financial services group and retail bank in Kazakhstan, holds the first place by net income among second tier banks of the country. The Bank renders a wide range of services, from banking services, insurance, leasing to brokerage services for clients in retail, SME and corporate sectors. The Bank also operates outside Kazakhstan with branches in Russia, Georgia and Kyrgyzstan.
