Major Almaty cinema theaters on sale

Major cinema theaters of Almaty, Alatau, Tselinnyi, Iskra and Baikonur of Otau Cinema network, are on sale, Tengrinews.kz reports. Tenrginews.kz journalist found out their prices: Alatau and Tselinnyi are on sale for $7 million each, Baikonyr costs $4 million and Iskra is available for $3 million. “All theaters are pledged as collaterals,” representative of Otau Cinema said. She did not answer the question about feasibility of the businesses, adding that this issue has to be specified by the owner. Ticket prices in Iskra vary from 500 to 800 tenge ($3-5). Watching a movie in Alatau and Tselinnyi costs up to 1,000 tenge ($7).
