For the 11 months of 2012 KazMunaiGas National Oil and Gas Company produced 19.5 million tons of crude and condensed gas, the Company’s press service reports. “For the period under review the Company processed 14.4 million tons of crude and shipped a total of 71 million tons of crude and 97.2 billion cubic metres of gas”, Newskaz.ru reports, citing Malik Salimgereev, Managing Director of the Samruk – Kazyna National Welfare Fund as saying December 25 at a press-conference in Astana. In 2011 the Company produced a total of 21.1 million tons of crude and condensed gas (4% down as compared to 2010). According to him, by 2022 the Company plans to bring the crude production up to 35.4 million tons, relying on more effective drilling technology, intensified production efforts and introduction of new oilfields. KazMunayGas is the state-owned oil and gas company of Kazakhstan. Its subsidiaries include KazMunaiGas Exploration Production (AO), Tengizchevroil (20%), KazTransOil, KazTransGas, KazMunayGas Trade House, Kazmortransflot, KazMunayTeniz and some other companies.
