Kazakhstan is taking part at Le Bourget Air Show for the first time. The exhibition opened in Paris on June 17, Tengrinews.kz reports from France. Embraer-190 aircraft owned by Air Astana arrived in France from Almaty with the technical stop in Aktobe. The airplane bears the name of Kazakhstan actress Amina Umurzakova. According to the airline, the aircraft was delivered from the manufacturer in Brazil in March 2013. “One of the reasons behind the choice of this particular aircraft is that it is an excellent example of advanced technologies in aircraft engineering. We are happy that Embraer chose our company to represent both the airline and Kazakhstan at the global arena,” Vice-President of Air Astana Public Relations Department Bella Tormysheva said. Embraer-190 is a narrow-bodied passenger aircraft with a flying range of up to 4,200km. The plane can carry 97 people in economy and business class. Its maximum speed is 890km/h. Paris Air Show has been held every two years starting from 1908. This is the biggest commercial event that exhibits advanced military and civil aircrafts. The Air Show of 2011 was participated by over 2,100 companies that demonstrated 150 aircrafts. The showroom was attended by 465 thousand people in 3 days. By Roza Yessenkulova
