Sir Tony Baldry has been elected new chairman of the largest Kazakhstan paper producer Kagazy Plc, Tengrinews.kz reports citing Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). Sir Baldry has been a member of the British Parliament for the last 30 years. He also worked in the governments of John Major and Margaret Thatcher for 8 years. He is not the first foreign chair in the company. I particularly look forward to working with CEO, Tomas Mateos Werner in realizing the potential of both the business and the region,” he said. The company also announced appointment of Sarosh Zaiwalla the company’s Non-Executive Director. He is a senior partner in the leading London law firm Zaiwalla & Co.
