Americans to produce agruciltural equipment in Kazakhstan

American AGCO and Kazakhstan KazArgoFinance discussed deliveries and possible assembly of agricultural machines in Astana, Tengrinews.kz reports. The meeting covered prospects of companies' partnership in delivery of American agricultural equipment and the possibility of establishment assembly facilities in Kazakhstan. AGCO's Business Development Director for Eastern Europe Bo Gade said that the company is aiming to reduce logistics and production costs. KazAgroFinance expressed readiness to cooperate with the American partners. As per the Chairman of the Board of KazAgroFinance Dulat Aitzhanov, should Kazakh agrarians be interested, the company can help with distribution and sales. Besides, Kazakhstan party will be able to partially finance production at the initial stage. Market prospects, terms of funding and business management in the framework of the Customs Union were also discussed at the meeting. AGCO corporation is the third biggest producer of agricultural vehicles in the world. KazAgroFinance was established in 1999 by Kazakhstan Government to solve one of the major agricultural problems: agricultural vehicles fleet renovation.
