Russian-Kazakhstan movie Parallel Worlds made by KazakhFilm president Yermek Amanshayev has been invited to participate in the 16th International Shanghai Film Festival, Tengrinews.kz reports. The romantic love story will be screened in the festival's special Panorama program. The premier of the movie was held in Moscow on March 28, 2013. The movie tells the story of a single woman who is played by Russian actress Alyona Babenko. One day she sees a young man (Berik Aitzhanov) on her balcony and that changes her life. He finds a way to her heart from that balcony, and he leaves from that balcony, after penetrating into her soul and changing everything inside. The movie’s draft title was The BalconyParallel Worlds. The director managed to bring together a lot of famous actors: Yevgeniy Stychkin, Aliya Telebarissova, Bibigul Suyunshalina, Erik Zholzhaksynov and Farkhat Abdraimov. The prime ballerina of Abai Theater of Opera and Ballet Saule Rakhmetova played one of the roles in the movie. The International Shanghai Film Festival is ranked class A and is accredited by the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF). The festival will be held on June 15-23, 2013.
