Two Kazakhstan films took part in the XV International Film and TV DetectiveFEST Festival in Moscow, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to KazakhFilm press-service. Kazakhstan-made youth comedy My Wicked Angel directed by Talgat Temenov and A love swing by Tokhtar Karsakbayev will compete for The best feature film on detective and law-enforcement themes Award. “My movie doesn’t fit into the concept of the Festival of Detective Films very well and I was pleasantly surprised when I was invited and glad about it too,” Karsakbayev said. Earlier Kazakhstan-made movie Bottle-nosed Dolphin’s Jump won one of the The Best Feature Detective Film prizes and another Kazakhstan-made movie Who are you, Mister Ka? was awarded with a special prize in this category as well. The International DetectiveFEST Film Festival has been held since 1999. Producer Yury Mityushin is the president of the Festival.
