Dancers from Russia’s leading Bolshoi Theatre (Moscow), the Kremlin Ballet (Moscow), Mariinsky Theatre (Saint Petersburg) and Mikhailovsky Theatre (Saint Petersburg) will perform in Astana on April 23, in Almaty on April 25 and in Aktau on April 26. The two-hour program includes fragments and pas de deux from famous Swan Lake, the Nutcrackers, Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, the Temple Dancer, La Esmeralda, Scheherazade, The Wayward Daughter, Don Quixote, Giselle and Morihiro Iwata’s contemporary choreography.
Russia’s merited artist Larisa Akhmetova (mezzo soprano) will sing for Kazakhstanis as a part of this magical celebration of grace and art led by Ruslan Nurtdinov.
“The program has rightfully earned a title of one of the most powerful programs worldwide. It sold out in the best theatres of Russia, Spain, France, Ireland, Hong Kong and South Africa,” the organizers said.
Stars of Russian Ballet in Almaty will perform on the stage of the Zhambul’s Phillarmonic Hall situated on Kaldayakov Street, 35. In Astana, the concert hits the Congress Hall stage situated on Kenesary 32. Finally, Aktau ballet and music lovers will see the concert at Zhanturin’s Drama Theatre located in 8th Mikrorayon. Tickets for the shows are selling out fast on Ticketon.kz (Almaty), BiletiAstana.kz and the box-office of the Drama theatre (Aktau). The prices start from $48.
