Tengrinews.kz - American rapper and actor Snoop Dogg will be one of the torchbearers who will carry the Olympic flame through the streets of Saint-Denis in northern Paris on Friday before the opening ceremony of the Games.

Saint-Denis is home to the Olympic stadium and Aquatics Centre. On the final stretch, Snoop Dogg will be joined by French celebrities, including supermodel and actress Laetitia Casta and rap singer MC Solaar.

It is explained that Snoop Dogg will also be a commentator for the American broadcaster NBC during the events.

52-year-old rapper was born and raised in Los Angeles, where the 2028 Summer Olympics will be held.
