Dev Patel who was starring in Slumdog Millionaire movie will come to Kazakhstan for Shaken’s Stars Film festival, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing official website of the Festival. 22-y.o. British actor played Jamal in the movie that was awarded with 8 Oscars and four Golden Globes. Patel was nominated to the prestigious BAFTA award for his role. A press-conference with the actor will be held on June 1. Russian cinema stars will also visit the Festival this year. Yegor Konchalovskiy, Lyubov Tolkalina and Natalya Panova will be the guests of Festival this year. Shaken Stars Festival will be held in Almaty on May 30 – June 3. The Festival will be held for the tenth time this year. More than 50 films in such nominations as Young Cinema, Debute, Student movies and Animation will be screened during the Festival. The movies will be demonstrated in Cinema Towers theaters. All those wishing to watch Kazakhstan movies will be able to attend free of charge.
