Arman Murzagaliyev will perform on the stage of the Astana Opera with his trio Remi on December 17, Tengrinews reports.
Murzagaliyev (violin) will present musical pieces by Bedřich Smetana, Antonin Dvořák, Gustav Mahler and Josef Suk along with Yerlan Mansurov (piano) and Aleksei Naidenov (cello). The violinist who founded the trio band brought together the most talented musicians. Their performance will encompass European music from three centuries.
Remi originated in 2007 and was named after the first Kazakh professional violin player Raupbek Shanin.
“Raupbek Shanin earned his creative nickname Remi for playing his violin for hours. Those who witnessed good old times in Alma-Ata reminisced of the way people would stop enchanted by the music Raupbek played on his violin. The life of the talented musician was cut short by fate. Raupbek Shanin is a bright representative of his people,” Arman Murzagaliyev said.
The performance of Remi trio starts at 7 p.m. on December 17 at the Astana Opera. TengrinewsTV will be streaming the concert live.
