My Wicked Angel movie made by Kazakhstan's Talgat Temenov won the Special Jury Award at the XIV International Detective Film Festival DetectiveFEST in Moscow, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to KazakhFilm studio's press-service. My Wicked Angel was awarded with the prize in The best feature film on detective and law-enforcement themes category. The movie tells a story of a talented singer Aisha Abroyeva, who dreams of singing in Paris. Prosperous banker helps the girl. And when the dream comes true, the fate presents Aisha with a dilemma. French actor Gerard Depardieu was starring in the movie and French editor Nicolas Trembasiewicz, who is known for his work on Fanfan La Tulipe, Wasabi, Yamakasi and The Transporter, edited the movie. 68 full-length feature films and short films were in the official selection of the DetectiveFEST Film Festival.
