Kazakhstan's Adam performs with Makpal Issabekova at New Wave 2013

Kazakhstan singer Adam performed with Makpal Issabekova, who won the People's Choice award at the festival 2005, on the second day of the New Wave 2013 in Jurmala, Latvia, Tengrinews.kz reports. The duet performed Thank you of Russian singer Nikolai Noskov. The jury gave the Kazakhstan duet 116 points. The highest mark (of 11 points) was given to the duet by Russian composers Yuri Antonov and Igor Nikolayev, Russian singers Valeriy Meladze and Leonid Agutin, Latvian singer Laima Vaikule and Italian pop singer Toto Cutugno. Adam had total of 229 points and the 9th place after the second day. Adam was 13 points behind the leader of the contest Roberto Kel Torres from Cuba. Georgia's Salome Qatamadze was in the second place after two days of the festival, she had 237 points. And Mery Mnjoyan from Armenia was in the 3rd place with 234 points. The last day of the festival Premiers' Day was on July 26. Adam was opening the concert. The Grand Prix winner became known on July 28 during the gala concert. By Aizhan Turegaliyeva
