Kazakhstan's Daria Gabdull, 2011 Kazakhstan X-Factor winner, who filed an application to participate in Eurovision-2012 as a representative of Sweden, won’t take part in the contest. Another singer – Loreen - will represent Sweden, Tengrinews.kz reports, referring to the official website of the contest. Loreen is a Swedish singer of Morocco-Berber origin. She will sing her song Euphoria in Baku, Azerbaijan. Eurovision-2012 website reported that a large majority part of the audience is betting on Sweden in bookmaker’s offices at present. Full lists of Eurovision-2012 participants and their songs is available at Eurovision website. Kazakhstan doesn’t take part in the European contest due to the country’s geographic location. That’s why Dariya applied to sing for Sweden to demonstrate her talent to the European audience. Sweden is allowed to nominate any singer, regardless of his or her citizenship. However the Eurovision participant should be selected by Swedish TV audience. Apparently, Kazakhstan singer failed to collect a sufficient amount of votes. Eurovision-2012 show will be held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The first semi-final will be held on May 20, the second – on May 24 and the third on May 26. The show will take place in Baku Crystal Hall, the new concert hall that has been constructed in Baku recently.
