A young singer from Kazakhstan has impressed the K-Pop show jury in South Korea, CA-NEWS reports. Saltanat Tuktubayeva, 16, made it into the first round of the K-Pop Star 3 project. The jury pointed out several drawbacks in her performance, but they still liked her signing very much. The jury took a promise from the girl to perform better in the next round. "Your singing is amateur and imprecise, you are not very good at performing the top notes, but I liked it, and I can't explain why. I'm sure I will express everyone’s opinion by saying we will teach you to sing," producer Park Jin-young, who was one of the jury members, said. His colleagues at the K-Pop show agreed with him. "We are smiling and it means you're going to the next round," singer and songwriter You Hee-yeol, a jury member, said. "We expect to hear a pitch-perfect singing next time," another jury singer Yang Hyun-suk pointed out. The girl came to the native country of her father - South Korea - to sing at K-Pop. But she has not become used to the local atmosphere yet. "I watched the first and second seasons of the show and liked it so much. But it feels a little bit odd to be part of the contest," Tuktubayeva said.
