Participant of Superstar.kz project, Kazakhstan singer Alisher Karimov won the third prize of the International Pop Song Performers Contest VITEBSK-2011 under the 20th International Festival of Arts SLAVIANSKI BAZAAR IN VITEBSK, BELTA writes. He shared the third place with a contestant from Moldova Christina Skarlat. The winners of the third place shared the prize of $3,000 and received special Lira awards and diplomas. According to BELTA, the audience in Vitebsk, Belarus, was very fond of Alisher Karimov. Grand-prix was won by Alena Lanskaya from Belarus. The winner received $15,000 and a special Lira award. The first prize and $9,000 were awarded to Ukrainina singer Vladimir Kvasnitse. A Lithuanian student of musical academy and TV-hostess Ruta shared the second prize of $6,000 with Czech composer and pianist David Dale. The results of the 20th International Pop Song Performers Contest VITEBSK-2011 were announced on July 13. 20 performers from 20 countries participated in the contest this year.
