Kazakhstan movie Sunny Days showed in Valencia Film Festival

Sunny Days movie directed by Nariman Turebayev from Kazakhstan and produced by KazakhFilm Studios (Kazakhstan national film-making company) took part in the 27th Valencia International Film Festival Cinema Jove, Tengrinews.kz reported, citing KazakhFilm press-office. “The goal of the Festival is to bring together nations and cultures from different parts of the world and popularize their culture and history through high-quality films. The Festival also provides the opportunity to get feedback on from socially and culturally wide-ranging audience. The Film Festival has been held since 1980. It has long become one of the main cinematographic events of the Mediterranean region,” the website of the Film Festival reads. Cinema Jove kicked off on June 15 and finished on June 22. The movie has got Premio Boccalino award in Locarno International Film Festival in Switzerland. Nariman Turebayev was awarded Best Director Award for his Sunny Days at Eurasia-2011 Film Festival. The film also competed at International film festivals in Switzerland, Germany, France and Tatarstan (Russia).
