Kazakhstan feature film Harmony Lessons by a well-known Kazakh film director Emir Baigazin has been released in Portugal, Tengrinews reports citing the press-service of Kazakhfilm studio. The Portuguese premier of the film took place in November 2013 at the 7th International Lisbon and Estoril Film Festival, where the movie gained the Special Jury Award. Leopardo Films Company is the official distributor of the film in Portugal. Harmony Lessons was already released in September 2013 in Austria. The Austrian premier was held during the opening of a new open-air theater "Cinema under the Stars" on Karlsplatz in the center of Vienna. France is the next European country to screen the Kazakh film on March 26. Harmony Lessons is the first feature film made by the young film director Emir Baigazin of Kazakhstan. It was the first Kazakhstan’s movie ever to be included into main competition of the 63rd International Film Festival in Berlin and more over it won the Silver Bear for The Best Cinematography. The film has earned more than 25 awards and participated in more than 50 different film festivals around the world already.
