One of Hollywood Studios has became interested in Hard Loop movie script written by Kazakhstan film director and athlete Peter Berman, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Express-K. The American Studio is planning to implement the project. This is a story of a wheelchair-bound teenager. An elderly healer cures him and passed her psychic powers to him. After she dies that young man is raised by a Chinese master of martial arts. Having grown up the man starts participating in ultimate fighting matches and wins one tournament after another. Berman has gone to the U.S. on June 25 to sign the contract with the Film Studios. They are negotiating participation of Gerard Depardieu and George Clooney in the movie at present. Peter Berman is Kazakhstan film director, producer, athlete and writer. He took part in ultimate fighting matches in the 1990s. He has written The Knock Out and Aikido Mister, Astana Team: Lie and Truth of the Big Loop about Astana team cyclists. He directed the documentary called Chasing the Leader about doping scandals in sports.
