Kazakhstan’s company has dubbed a foreign movie into Russian for the first time, Tengrinews.kz reports. Cinema Tone Production company finished dubbing of Indian Cocktail movie into Russian recently. The dubbing process lasted for one month. The movie was translated from Hindi into Russian by Kazakhstan interpreter Diana Sabazova. Anastassiya Temkina, actress of Lermontov Academic Russian Drama Theater, Natalya Lunina, actress of Sats Youth Theater and actor Sergey Nikonenko dubbed the leading parts of the movie. The movie will be released on March 21, 2013 in Kazakhstan. “The choice of the movie seems very interesting, because several generations grew up on Indian movies (in Kazakhstan). We have been spoilt by blockbusters lately. (…) The movie is very funny, we were laughing all the time during the dubbing,” the filmmaker Ilya Bisserov said. The actors, who dubbed the movie, said that their work gave them a great pleasure. “I was interested in the movie as a viewer. (…) In general I am not an Indian cinema fan. but this film is special because it feels Indian and not Indian at the same time. The lead character is a girl ten years younger than me, but she is very much like me,” actress Anastassiya Temkina said. Earlier Cinema Tone Production Company dubbed the following cartoons into Kazakh: Brave, Cars 2, Men in Black 3. The company also made a voice-over of The Assault movie.
