Akan Satayev’s “Liquidator” staring Vinnie Jones to hit screens on April 7

The first run of Liquidator staged by Akan Satayev from Kazakhstan is scheduled for April 7, 2011, Alua Barmankulova from Kazakhfilm studio press-service told Tengrinews.kz correspondent. The film is about a bodyguard who finds out that his brother’s death wasn’t an accident. He starts his own investigation. The star part in the film is played by Berik Aitzhanov known for his performance in The Sword of Makhambet and Brothers. Britain’s Vinnie Jones (Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, The Big Bounce) plays a mute assassin who arrives to Kazakhstan from abroad. Liquidator was created with the use of Kazakhfilm stiduo’s facilities and equipment. The studio said that shooting of the film started in the middle of 2010. The film script was written by Timur Zhaksylykov who is known for Lost and Racketeer. The film is worth around $2 million. By Indira Myrzhabayeva
