Kazakhstan film director Akan Satayev is start to shoot his first foreign project, a dramatic thriller called Hacker, this autumn, Kinopravda reports. The script is written by Timur Zhaksylykov and a young cinematographer Sanzhar Sultanov (Burning Daylight) and based on a true story of a hacker who was making money on a credit card fraud. "A talented young man becomes part of the hacker's world, discovers an easy way to make money, but does not realize that the easy money may had serious consequences," Sanzhar Sultanov said. The preparation period starts in September. The film will be shot in New York, Toronto, Dubai and Bangkok. The audition has not been held yet, but it is already known that American and Canadian actors, including the A-list celebrities, will play almost all the lead and supporting parts. Akan Satayev and Sanzhar Sultanov, who are also producing the film, have not unveiled the film budget yet. But it is known that the project will be financed by several investors including Kazakhstan businessmen Galymzhan Mairambekov, Zhanbolat Serikov, and Mobli Comapny, that has Kazakhstan's Kenes Rakishev as one of its founders. The Hacker film will be presented at the international film festival in Toronto, Canada next year. Toronto will be the film's production base, the film company Know Rules Media will be working on it there.
