9-y.o. Rashida Uzykhanova from Semey will represent Kazakhstan in the international music festival Children’s New Wave 2012, Tengrinews.kz reports, citing Zhan Mukanov, Festival National Committee director in Kazakhstan. Rashida Uzykhanova was one of the prize-winners of Silver Star 2011 festival held in Turkey. Arguna band, Milena Gonchar, Darya Nefedova and Yelizaveta Sizova competed for the place in the final together with Rashida. The final contest of Children’s New Wave 2012 will be held in the end of the August in the Crimea. Rashida Uzykhanova's rehearsal New Wave 2012 selective round among adults will be held in Moscow on April 20-21. Two girls bands Indigo and BIONIC, Rada Matviyenko, Diana Sharapova (The Niggers band soloist), MEZZO band (X-Factor show finalists), Natan, NG hip-hop band, Luina, Rassul Zharmagambetov, Alena Balasheva, Dikhan Ilyashev and Margarita Oprya will compete for places in the final and opportunity to represent Kazakhstan in the contest. The final show will be held in Jurmala (Latvia) on July 29.

Rashida Uzykhanova was one of the prize-winners of Silver Star 2011 festival held in Turkey.
