The young girl got the highest score in the Classical Piano, Instrumental Art, Solo nomination and received the 1st degree diploma of the Young Cannes Stars competition.
11-y.o. pianist from Kokshetau, Kazakhstan, Alina Galiyeva has won a prestigious international competition in France, Tengrinews reports citing the Culture Department of Akmola Oblast Administration.
The young girl got the highest score in the Classical Piano, Instrumental Art, Solo nomination and received the 1st degree diploma of the Young Cannes Stars competition.
Alina, the six-grade student from Kokshetau music school, was preparing for the concert with her piano teacher Rosa Myrzakhmetova. She accompanied Alina to the contest along with the girl's mother.
Young Cannes Stars annually gathers up to 450 participants on the French Riviera.
The next step for Alina is to participate in the grand finale that will be held in St. Petersburg, Russia in October.
Alina had participated in a whole array of music competitions before. One of them was a music competition in Tuapse where she was awarded a 2nd degree diploma in instrumental genre nomination.
