Tengrinews.kz – Police have closed all outbound roads from Astana due to deteriorating weather conditions, the city’s police department said.

Tengrinews.kz – Police have closed all outbound roads from Astana due to deteriorating weather conditions, the city’s police department said.

Traffic restrictions for all types of vehicles in every direction were introduced starting 2:00 pm.

Law enforcement officials urged drivers to temporarily refrain from traveling, remain within populated areas and avoid heading toward Rubezh checkpoints at the city exits in order to prevent traffic congestion and avoid disrupting the work of municipal and emergency services.

“Compliance with these measures will help ease the workload of relevant services and ensure the uninterrupted functioning of the city,” police said.
