Sales of light vehicles in Kazakhstan increased 75.54 percent in Q1 2011 compared to the same period of 2010. Official dealers sold 2,524 light vehicles in March 2011 (18.5 percent more than the previous month). Compared to March 2010, sales were a staggering 2.3 times higher. 6.337 vehicles were sold in Q1 this year. This is a bit less than in Q4 last year. As for production of light vehicles, 1.241 cars were assembled in Kazakhstan in 2011. This is 6.46 time more than last year. Asia Auto assembled 1.237 cars (KIA, Chevrolet, Lada and Skoda). Agromashholding Kazakhstan assembled 4 SsangYong cars since the beginning of the year.
