A new six-lane road will appear in Almaty - project map
Tengrinews.kz — A six-lane road will be built in Almaty stretching from Ryskulov Avenue to Bukhtarminskaya Street.
According to the Almaty Akimat, the city plans to construct 17.5 kilometers of roads within the area bounded by Baimagambetov Street, Kuldzhinsky Trakt, Bukhtarminskaya Street, and Ryskulov Avenue.
The new thoroughfare connecting Bukhtarminskaya Street and Ryskulov Avenue will be a six-lane road 50 meters wide and 4.6 kilometers long.
"Establishing this transport link is essential for the future connection with BAKAD, which will improve transport accessibility, enhance the connectivity of the road network, and ensure efficient links both within the city and with settlements in the Almaty agglomeration," the Akimat press service noted.
Due to the construction of the new thoroughfare, the state will need to acquire approximately 200 private land plots. The relevant decree has already been adopted, and property owners have been sent notifications.
