Tengrinews.kz - A meeting of topographic and working groups for the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border took place in Kyrgyzstan.
The meeting on the delimitation and demarcation of the Kyrgyz-Tajik border was held in Batken from August 11 to 17. It involved topographic and legal working groups from the governmental delegations of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
"The parties continued discussions and exchanged proposals on describing the course of the Kyrgyz-Tajik state border on the remaining sections," the statement said.
The parties will continue work on describing the remaining sections at the next meeting, which will be held in Tajikistan.
The Kyrgyz government noted that the meeting was conducted in an atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
