Japanese Autumn Art Festival to be held in Almaty

The 3rd International Art Festival Japanese Autumn will be held from September 23 to October 5 in Almaty, Tengrinews reports. A photography exhibition called Views of nature in the works of artists of Japan and Kazakhstan will open the art festival in Tengri-Umai gallery. Works of Hiroshi Natori, Tatuhiko Bin, Satoshi Sugama, Yasuhiro Ogava, Yoichiro Yamashita, Setsuko Sasaka, Nikolai Postnikov, Oleg Belyalov, Vadim Solovyov will be presented at the exhibition. Yoichiro Yamashita, Director of a Tokyo gallery, will visit Kazakhstan for the first time and hold a series of master-classes. A concert of the Kazakhstan classical singers Songs of Autumn Wind and a concert of Sazgen Sazi ensemble of folk instruments will be held in Zhambyl Kazakh National Philharmonic Hall in the framework of the festival. The classical concert on September 23 will include popular compositions of Japanese composers, Kazakhstan and European classic and sand animation by Sand Pro studio. Timur Urmancheyev (piano), Zhupar Gabdullina (soprano), Sundet Baigozhin (baritone), Yermek Kurmanayev (cello), Arman Tleubergenov (piano), Saltanat Abilkhanova (organ), Askar Dusembayev (violin), Rakhim Toksanbayev (clarшnet), Kanat Botabayev (marimba) will perform at the concert. The concert of Sazgen Sazi ensemble of folk instruments will take place on September 24. Tengri-Umai gallery is located at #103 Panfilov Street at the crossing with Gogol Street. Zhambyl Kazakh National Philharmonic Hall is located at #35 Kaldayakov Street, the crossing with Tole Bi Street. Entrance to the gallery, both concerts and the master classes is free.
