Almaty residents will be able to take a look at the subway and visit a photo exhibition on October 22. The exhibition is called My Almaty: past, present, future, Tengrinews.kz reports. One subway station, Zhibek Zholy (at the crossing of Gogol and Panfilov streets), will be open. According to press-service of Almaty subway, the artistic works My Almaty category are dedicated to special sites of the city. Almaty Life category is a reflection of positive emotions of the residents, the organizers say. Almaty subway opening is scheduled for early December, timed to the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan Independence. According to Almaty city administration, main constructions of all 7 stations are already completed. Architectural-artistic decoration of 5 of them is completed as well: Rayimbek Batyr, Zhibek Zholy, Almaty, Alatau, Abai.
