Tengrinews.kz - Another fatal traffic accident has occurred in the Aktobe region, involving a truck and a passenger car.
The accident took place on the Samara-Shymkent highway, near the village of Bekkul Baba, as reported by the regional police department. The press service stated that there were five people inside a minivan at the time of the collision.
"As a result of the collision between the truck and the minivan, the driver and one passenger were killed at the scene, and three passengers were taken to a medical facility," the police report stated.
According to the health department, among the three injured, two of them are relatives - a brother and sister.
"The girl born in 2012 with severe injuries was taken to a children's hospital in critical condition. Her 18-year-old brother is also in the hospital in stable but serious condition. A woman born in 1981 with injuries and a traumatic brain injury was taken to the regional hospital," the department clarified.
