According to reports, including from the Imedi TV channel, the incident occurred at the border area, but as of 5:10 PM, the information had not been officially confirmed, and there were no reports of casualties or injuries.

Some sources initially referred to the crash as involving a "military helicopter," while others mentioned a "military plane".
The Turkish Ministry of Defense confirmed that a military cargo plane, a C-130, which had taken off from Azerbaijan en route to Turkey, crashed at the border.

The ministry also stated that search and rescue operations are underway in cooperation with the authorities of Azerbaijan and Georgia.
