Beauty from Almaty wins Miss Kazakhstan 2013 crown

The beauty from Almaty Aigerim Issayeva, 24, has been selected the most beautiful girl of Kazakhstan at the nationwide pageant Miss Kazakhstan 2013, Tengrinews reports.

Aigerim Issayeva is a student of Kazakh National Medical University.

The winner of the country's main beauty pageant will sign a one-year contract with Miss Kazakhstan organizers. According to the contract Miss Kazakhstan title holder has to attend charity event and participate in social campaigns. Besides, she will be an Ambassador to the Winter Universiade 2017, take part in the charity ball as a debutante and represent Kazakhstan at the international beauty contest Miss World 2014.

The first runner-up title was awarded to this year's Miss Kokshetau Laura Shamgulova. Miss Catwalk Vera Dushina won the second runner-up title at the pageant, the third runner-up title of Miss Kazakhstan went to Miss Karaganda Diana Kenessova and Miss Semei Alem Makanbekova gained the forth runner-up title.

The jury included Kazakhfilm studios president Yermek Amanshiyev, designer Kuralai Nurkadilova, businessmen Armanzhan Baitasov, Timur Kuvatov, Alexandr Orlov, photographer Danil Oleinik, Aigul Mukei, Sovet Seitov, Karlygash Mukhametzhanova, Nurlan Alimzhanov and TV presenter Serik Akishev. The organizers were not using SMS-voting this year, so the jury had the sole right to select the Miss Kazakhstan 2013.

25 most beautiful girls from all over Kazakhstan cities except representatives of Taraz and Kyzylorda (regional contests were held improperly in these cities) participated in the contest.

Kazakhstan singer Makpal Issabekova, TV presenter Ilya Urazakov, top-models Marina Gaivanovskaya and Saltanat Bekzhigitova were the masters of the ceremony.
