1999 Nobel Prize-Winner in Economics Robert Mandell shared his vision of the monetary policy problems of central banks of Europe. He recommended Greece, Spain and Italy to reform their labor markets to overcome the huge barrier hindering their growth. Their social expenditures were very high and it caused problems, he said.
