added: 28 September 2011, 14:23

Spanish programmer Arturo Castro developed a technology allowing to morph the faces of others, The Daily Mail writes.

Castro recorded a video demonstrating the capapilities of his invention that he calls “realtime face substitution”. It is expected that in future this technology will allow actors to borrow somebody's appearance for recording videos.

Castro's technology works in real time. In this video the programmer proves the efficiency of his invention by “trying on” faces of Paris Hilton, Barack Obama, Marylin Monroe and Michael Jackson. According to the programmer, his technology works better than facial animation used in modern cartoons, as it is based on a real face.
