Kazakhstan’s PM Karim Massimov and his French counterpart Franсois Fillon took part in the ceremony of signing bilateral cooperation documents on June 27 in Paris. An agreement on peaceful use of nuclear power and the declaration of intent on cultural cooperation were signed by the Governments of France and Kazakhstan.
Kazakhstan’s Transport Ministry and the French Agency for Civil Aviation signed an MoU on launching a direct flight to link Astana to Paris.
Kazakhstan Engineering National Company, EADS-Eurocopter and Eurocopter-Kazakhstan Engineering JV signed an agreement to cooperate within a program to produce EC-145 helicopters in the territory of Kazakhstan and an agreement on distribution and maintenance of helicopters and on establishing a professional training facility in Kazakhstan.
KazAtomProm and Areva signed a memorandum of cooperation on alternative energy sources.
