Kazakh mountain conquerer to try out Alaska
Famous mountain climber from Kazakhstan Maksut Zhumaev is setting forth to climb the North America’s highest mountain peak Mount McKinley. The climb should take more than two weeks. The Kazakh mountain climber will start the challenge in the beginning of June. It is a part of his ambitious project to climb 14 eight-thousanders without supplemental oxygen, which he has already done, to conquer the Seven Summits that are the highest mountains of each of the seven continents and to ski to the North and South Poles. Zhumaev added that once he succeeds with his project there would be a good chance of making into the Guinness World Records for him.
