On the 9th week of the 4th season of WSB, the Astana Arlans will fight against Poland Hussars in their home ring on March 1, Tengrinews reports.

The Astana Wolves won the Hussars with 4:1 in Poland back in January 2014. Now the Poles have a chance to fight back the Champions of the 3rd season in Almaty.

Boxers from the Kazakhstan National Boxing Team will be representing the Astana Arlans in the fight against the Hussars. It will put the Kazakh amateur boxers to a real test.

In the flyweight category (-52 kg), Iliyas Suleimenov, 23 will face Grzegorz Kozlowski, 20. Suleimenov is the first boxer from the National Team to join the Arlans. He has already fought in WSB and lost to Elvin Mamishzada from the Baku Fires. Kozlowski had a tough start of the season 4. The orthodox Pole boxer lost to Gerardo Cervantes (2WP) from the Cuba Domadores and Misha Aloyan (4WP) from the Russian Boxing Team. The result of the bout is difficult to predict, but one thing is certain, both boxers have somewhat equal chances and will fight to the very end.

The lightweight (-60 kg) bout promises to be a real surprise for boxing fans. A debutant Berik Abdrakhmanov, 27 will fight against Dawid Pawel Michelus, 20 who has 3WP and 3 loses in his record. Abdrakhmanov has a good record in amateur boxing. He won a bronze medal at the AIBA World Championship in Almaty in 2013. He was close to getting into the final but lost to Lazaro Estrada from Cuba. Michelus had previously fought in a bantamweight (-54 kg). This year, he lost Lindolfo Delgado Garza of the Mexico Guerreros and beat Russian Konstantin Bogomazov. Abdrakhmanov has a solid experience in amateur boxing but it is yet unknown if it will help him against the younger and more experienced in WSB Pole boxer.

In the welterweight (-69 kg), the captain of the National Team and a 2013 World Champion Daniyar Yeleusinov, 22 will debut in a fight against Zhora Simonyan, 19. Yeleusinov who is now participating in the Four Countries Championship in Astana said that he feels quite confident about the upcoming debut in WSB. Simonyan lost to Alexander Besputin of the Russian Boxing Team 44:50; 43:50; 45:40. During the World Championship's final bout, Yeleusinov won Arisnoydis Dispain who TKOed Bakhytzhan Kozhabekov of the Arlans. It certainly gives hope for a successful debut of the Kazakh boxer.

The fourth National Team boxer to debut in WSB that night is Adilbek Niyazimbetov in the light heavyweight (-81kg). The 24 y.o. southpaw boxer has an impressive amateur boxing record with a silver medal at the 2012 Olympics and two silver medals at the World Championships in 2012-2013. His opponent is Kasjusz Gracjan Zycinski of the Poland Hussars. The Pole boxer has had only one fight so far and lost to tough Alexander Khotyatsev (1WP/2TKO) of the Russian Boxing Team.

In the super heavyweight (+91 kg), an Ukrainian debutant Armen Simonyan, 21 will fight against another Ukrainian mercenary Sergiy Werwejko, 25 of the Poland Hussars. Werwejko has had two fights this season. He was TKOed by Cuban Yoandi Toirac in the second round and won Ivan Veriasov of the Russian Boxing Team.

With four out of five boxers debuting, the Astana Wolves are putting high stakes on the National Team boxers. The night at the Baluan Sholak Sports Palace will be a real stamina test for the amateur boxers debuting in the fight against the Poland Hussars.

The Astana Wolves will be fighting the Cuba Domadores in Havana on February 22 at 7:30 am by Astana time.

Tickets for the March 1st fight can be purchased on Ticketon.kz for $10-26.

It will be the last fight of the Astana Arlans before the semi-finals of the Season 4. The Wolves will bare their fangs and aim to win again.
