Water polo: Kazakhstan secured its first victory in the Youth Water Polo Championship

Kazakhstan national water polo team has secured its first victory in the FINA World Youth Water Polo Championship (18 & U) for both men and women that is being held in Australia city of Perth on December 1-9, Vesti.kz reports. FINA (Fédération Internationale de Natation) is the International Federation (IF) recognized by the International Olympic Committee for administering international competitions in the aquatic sports. FINA currently oversees competition in five aquatic sports: swimming, diving, synchronized swimming, water polo and open water swimming. Kazakhstan water polo team played against Peru and won 15:6 in the third round of the tournament. Kazakhstan team will play against Brazil water polo team in the final round of the group stage. Italy’s and Serbia’s teams defeated Kazakhstan team in the first two rounds of the tournament (with the scores of 5:26 and 1:20 correspondingly). Water Polo.
